External Affairs Minister Sushma Swaraj is suffering from kidney failure and admitted at AIIMS. She revealed on twitter that she has been on dialysis at AIIMs after suffering from a kidney failure. She also said that she was undergoing tests for a possible kidney transplant. The Minister has been admitted on November 7 shared the news with her twitter followers.

“I am in AIIMS because of kidney failure. Presently, I am on dialysis. I am undergoing tests for a Kidney transplant. Lord Krishna will bless,” Swaraj tweeted.
She has been monitored by a team of doctors since November 7. The senior BJP leader aged 64, who has been suffering from diabetes for almost 20 years, underwent certain endocrinological tests. Swaraj had admitted to AIIMS 8 months ago after she complained of chest congestion. She was discharged after being treated for fever and pneumonia Symptoms.

As a Minister of Foreign Affairs, Swaraj in her two years has been admired for her outreach on Twitter by helping those in trouble, regardless of their location. Her speech at the United Nations General Assembly was also applauded where she blamed Pakistan for provoking the unrest in Kashmir and funding terrorism in India.
