New India in the New Year: Prime Minister Narendra Modi decision to demonetize notes is to clean up the entire nation from the corrupt. A new nation will emerge at the dawn of the new year. The 70 year old slush pile of black money will be cleaned up.” Na apne liye, na apno ka”( not for myself nor for my dear ones). I am here to work for the welfare of the poor and I will keep doing it.” he stated along with ,”to correct the system which has accumulated 70 years of black money and corruption”. the step to demonetize the currency was the need of the hour and its benefits would be for the entire nation to see in the coming new year.
“When systemic changes happen, there will be some trouble. But the whole nation is supporting this. The positive response has been beyond my expectations,” the Prime Minister was quoted as saying .The nation may be facing hardship due to demonetizing but once in a while a country has to brace difficulties for the better good as a whole nation.
Taking a strong stance over his move, the PM said,“No one can say it was without warning. I have given adequate alerts in my speeches. It’s not my fault if some people have not got the message,” In a much recent speech the Prime Minister had said that the nation may hang him if he fails to deliver , the Nation everyone has always dream’t of. He has asked the nation to rally behind him till the end of this year to see and share his vision for the betterment of our country.
“There will be a new India in the New Year… Naya saal, naya Bharat. You go to people and explain that our fight is against black money, corruption, counterfeit notes and terror funding,” he said.
He further has said, “I know what kind of powers I have taken on. I know the kind of people who will be against me now. I am looting what they had accumulated over 70 years”.”They will not leave me alive. They will destroy me. Let them do what they want. The country should just help me for 50 days,”
Stating that this is not the end to the other projects he has in his mind to clean the country from the corrupt, but this is the beginning.
“This is not the end. This is not a full stop. I am openly saying, this is not a full stop.” “There are other projects in my mind to stop dishonesty and corruption in the country. These projects are coming.”,”I am doing this for the poor, honest people for those who are working hard to survive. So that they can get their own home, their children get good education and so that their parents get care.”
If we believe in the vision of the Prime Minister, if indeed India becomes corruption free, Mr Modi’s name would become immortal as one of the greatest visionary leader of modern times.
