UP assembly Polls 2017: Samajwadi Party chief Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Akhilesh Yadav has accused Bhartiya Janata Party of copying SP’s election manifesto in the upcoming assembly polls. He also accused the central government of harassing people by demonetization. Yadav alleged while addressing rallies in Etah and Jaitra town that BJP has copied his party’s poll’s manifesto.
CM Akhilesh accused Modi government of harassing people by demonetization
“Where are the ache din (good days) and Rs 15 lakh in the bank account of people promised by BJP ahead of 2014 Assembly election,” he said.
CM used the party symbols of SP and Congress to describe the alliance of the parties and said, “Bicycle (SP’s election symbol) had been strengthened by the cooperation of hand (Congress poll symbol).”
He also accused Modi government saying people had gone to the trouble by demonetization. He further said, “Poor people were harassed by forcing them to stand in long queues at banks, while the rich people did not face any problem at all,” the Samajwadi Party leader alleged.

Highlighting the work was being done by him and the party during their tenure in UP, Akhilesh said “People can see that we have done a lot of progress in every sphere in the last five years. We started Samajwadi ambulance service. The dial 100 for emergency police service was introduced to curb crimes and provide safety to the people”.
