In the very first WWE Monday night RAW post the Royal Rumble, Samoa Joe made his WWE Raw debut on Monday night RAW along with “The Game” Triple H. Although he didn’t show up during the Royal Rumble Match like most people expected, Samoa Joe finally made his main roster debut by attacking Seth Rollins as he went after Triple H in the final segment of this week’s WWE Monday Night Raw.

The following the results of all the matches and segments from WWE Raw. In the final week of 2016, RAW lost the “Ratings War” with the blue brand for the first time since the separate rosters were established. However, SmackDown LIVE hasn’t won again since the New Year. Will the first new programming since Royal Rumble 2017 be enough for Stephanie and Mick to earn another win against SmackDown LIVE on Tuesday nights?

  1. Sami Zayn defeated Chris Jericho

Both Sami Zayn and the WWE United States Champion Chris Jericho had rather lengthy stays in this year’s Royal Rumble Match but put on a great singles match less than 24 hours later. Zayn got the pinfall victory after connecting with the Helluva Kick, which makes him an obvious contender for Y2J’s United States Title.

  1. Tony Nese defeated Mustafa Ali

The only Cruiserweight Division match of the night saw Tony Nese get a solid victory over Mustafa Ali. Post-match, when Austin Aries interviewed him about his critics saying that Nese lacked charisma, he said that the premiere athlete doesn’t have to answer to his critics.

  1. Bayley, Cesaro & Sheamus defeated Charlotte, Anderson & Gallows

After Bayley Cesaro and Sheamus came face to face in the segment of the Anderson, Gallows and Charlotte followed by the heating exchange of words, the match was announced. This inter-gender tag team match ended when Bayley reversed Charlotte Flair’s attempt to set up the Figure Eight and ended up hitting a Bayley-To-Belly Suplex.

  1. Roman Reigns interfered in Kevin Owens vs. Braun Strowman

After the announcement in the opening segment where Mick Foley as promised given a title shot to Braun Strowman against Kevin Owens, Roman Reigns spoiled the fun.

During the match, as Braun Strowman looked like he was about to defeat Kevin Owens for the WWE Universal Championship, Roman Reigns came to the ring to get his revenge for Strowman’s interference at Royal Rumble 2017. Reigns did quite a number on Strowman, and it looks like their new feud is far from over. Of course, Roman didn’t hesitate from getting his hands on Owens at the same time.

  1. Brock Lesnar showed up unannounced

As predicted for Wrestlemania, with his advocate Paul Heyman doing all of the talking, Brock Lesnar made an unexpected appearance at Monday Night Raw in Laredo. Lesnar officially challenged Goldberg to a Survivor Series rematch at WrestleMania 33.

  1. Nia Jax defeated Sasha Banks

Sasha Banks is behaving desperate and but looking an idiot as she ignored Bayley’s advice to wait until she was healthier to go after Nia Jax. Sasha Banks took a beating on Monday Night Raw as the referee called the match when it was clear that Banks was in no shape to continue. When Jax continued her onslaught after the bell rang, Bayley came to the ring to make the save.

After cutting an in-ring promo that explained the history between himself and Seth Rollins, Triple H called out The Architect to settle things face-to-face. As Rollins made his way to the ring, however, he was cut off by a surprise attack from Samoa Joe. Many WWE fans were disappointed that Joe didn’t show up in the Royal Rumble Match. It looks like Triple H and the WWE had other plans for the former two-time NXT Champion.
