We have been enjoying the likes of Marvel Luke Cage, The Walking Dead, Grimm, etcetera and there is no way that can stop the other upcoming TV series that are going to rule the world of TV. No doubt, the latter one has entertained us for pretty long time. Look at Game of Thrones, it took everyone by surprise and people are head over heels for the show. But, there is always another room for the new ones. Many channels have already announced the dates about these upcoming TV series.

24: Legacy
Man, this upcoming TV series ruled the houses for almost 10 years and talking about Jack Bauer, he was the most famous character and this time he is not returning. Yes, you read it right; this time Eric Wright (Corey Hawkins) will fight the bad guys.
The plot for this show is, “After leading a mission to eliminate terrorist leader Sheikh Ibrahim Bin-Khalid, Eric Carter (Corey Hawkins), returns to the U.S. and finds out that he and his squad mates are targeted for assassination in retaliation for Bin-Khalid’s death. With nowhere else to turn, Carter asks CTU to help him save his life while also stopping one of the largest-scale terror attacks on American soil. The events will take place three years after the events in 24: Live another Day and is set in Washington, D.C”.

Riverdale
Based on the Archie Comics, Riverdale is one of the favorite upcoming TV series. The show has been produced by Greg Berlanti who is also the producer of all the DC shows like The Flash, Arrow, Legends of Tomorrow, and Supergirl. The pilot is set to premiere on January 26, 2017 and is written by Archie Comics’ chief creative officer Roberto Aguirre-Sacasa, the show will air on The CW.
A.P.B. (TV Series)
A tech billionaire is given control over a Chicago Police district, hoping to close the file of a murder of a loved one. The story is loosely based on the New York Times Magazine article “Who Runs the Streets of New Orleans?” The show has been directed by Len Wiseman who has given several hit shows and movies like Underworld, Sleepy Hollow, and Die Hard, etcetera. This upcoming TV series was commissioned on May 10, 2016 and is set to air mid-season. A trailer was released on May 16, 2016. Apart from that, the series will premiere on February 6, 2017.
The Punisher (TV Series)’
After a brief role in Marvels Daredevil series, The Punisher is back with its own show. Joe Bernthal will be reprising the role of Frank Castle who fights crime with lethal methods. Moreover, Deborah Ann Woll from Daredevil will also be back as Karen Page for the upcoming TV series. The plot for series has been set after Frank Castle’s family is killed, “Frank Castle is haunted and hunted after the murder of his family and becomes a vigilante known in the criminal underworld as “the Punisher”, who aims to fight crime by any means necessary. The exact date has not been fixed but Netflix has announced that The Punisher will release in 2017.
Big Hero 6 (TV Services)
After proving its metal on big screen, Disney Television is bringing Big Hero 6 on small screen. The upcoming TV series is loved by children, and it will commence after the events of Big Hero 6 movie. The series continues the adventures of 14-year-old tech genius ‘Hiro’ and his robot Baymax. Joining the pair on their journey is control freak Wasabi, scientist Honey Lemon, fanboy Fred, and no-nonsense GoGo, who together form the Big Hero 6 superhero team. As the new prodigy at San Fransokyo Institute of Technology, Hiro faces daunting academic challenges, not to mention the social trials of being the little man on campus. The stakes are also raised for the high-tech heroes when they must protect their city from an array of scientifically enhanced villains.
Marvels Iron Fist
Luke Cage broke all the records and reached the top among the viewers. Just like that, Netflix is returning with Iron Fist, a story about Danny Rand who returns to New York City, after being missing for fifteen years, to reclaim his family company. However, when a threat emerges, Rand must choose between his family’s legacy and his duties as the Iron Fist. Iron Fist is scheduled to be released on March 17, 2017.
The Defenders (TV Series)
Marvels is bringing all time favorite superhero assemble mini-series, which will feature in 2017. It will include all the four superheroes from Marvel’s television world. The Defenders is stated to be most awaited upcoming TV series of 2017. All the characters like Daredevil, Luke Cage, Iron Fist and Jessica Jones will return together to stop the major threat which is looming on the city. What is more? Sigourney Weaver will be the main antagonist in the series.
The Blacklist: Redemption
The Blacklist: Redemption is an upcoming TV series that is expected to premiere on NBC during the 2016–17. The series is a crime, thriller and action based and also a spin-off from the NBC series The Blacklist. It stars Famke Jansen as Susan Scott “Scottie” Hargrave, president of Halcyon Aegis, a private military company with teams of corporate operatives, and Ryan Eggold as Tom Keen, a character from the original series.
