Acer has launched Swift 7 laptop in India today and as per the company claims, it is the world’s first laptop to measure less than 1cm. In short, this is the thinnest laptop in the world. The Swift 7 was first unveiled at IFA, Berlin this year and managed to grab eyeballs from around the world as the company claimed that it is world’s thinnest laptop and first laptop.
Acer India said in its press release that “The flagship Swift 7 comes packed with an all-aluminium chassis that’s less than one centimetre thin [and] is packed in performance and stamina for all-day productivity.” Acer Swift 7 is priced at Rs 99,999 and it will be available to buy from November 18 on Acer’s stores, select multi-brand outlets and exclusively on Flipkart.

The Swift 7 laptop measures just 0.39 inches (9.98mm) and weighs in at 1.1kg.
Display: The laptop features a 13.3-inch Full HD IPS display with 1920 x 1080 pixels resolution. The screen is covered with Corning Gorilla Glass 5 for added protection.
Processor: The Acer Swift 7 laptop is powered by 7th generation Intel i5 processor running at 1.20GHz. The laptop has 8GB RAM and 256GB SSD storage.
The Swift 7 supports Dolby Audio and Acer’s TrueHarmony technology for good audio experience.
Battery: According to the company, the Swift 7 laptop can last up to 9 hours on a single charge.
The laptop has 2 USB Type-C port and can deliver 3X faster wireless performance with 2×2 802.11ac with MU-MIMO technology.
