Tonight, there was celebration at WWE Smackdown Live event. Shane McMahon, who started off the things, said that he was extremely happy with the WWE Smackdown team win over WWE Raw team. Shane mentioned that, he felt like he had a car accident during the WWE Survivor Series 2016. McMahon was relived after his team won the Men’s elimination match. Shane even thanked Randy Orton and Bray Wyatt, but was not happy with Dean Ambrose and AJ Styles.
Ambrose came out and was surprised that Shane is upset. Shane explained that, Ambrose joining his former shield mates to powerbomb styles through the announce table was not a good thing. Instead, Ambrose wanted to congratulate the MVP (James Ellsworth) of WWE Smackdown team who helped eliminating Brawn Strowman.
Ellsworth gets a gift from Shane McMahon, when he announced that James will be included in WWE Smackdown roster. AJ Styles was not happy with the decision, he wanted James to earn the contract by fighting him in a ladder match but Ellsworth asks for a future title shot if he beats AJ Styles tonight. WWE Smackdown commissioner announced the main event between James Ellsworth vs. AJ Styles.
WWE Smackdown Live opening match started between
WWE Intercontinental Title: The Miz (c) w/Maryse vs. Kalisto
It was another shot for Kalisto to win the Intercontinental title. As soon as Kalisto took Miz off with Spike Rana, Baron Corbin runs in to give Kalisto End of days. The match was finally called off due to disqualification. The Miz is still the reigning champion. Miz celebrations are cut short when Dolph Zigglar superkicks him to the face

Backstage, Daniel Bryan was not happy with the actions of Baron Corbin and puts him to a match with Demon Kane
#1 Contenders Tag Team Turmoil: American Alpha vs. the Usos vs. the Hype Bros. vs. the Ascension vs. the Vaudevillians vs. Breezango
Match started between The Hype Bros and The Ascension. Zack Ryder counters Viktor with Double suplex and double neckbreaker. The Ascension got eliminated from the match.
Team Ascension eliminated.
Breezango comes out next. Fandango helped Breeze and they tackled the Broski Boot. Breezango took Ryder with catapult/elbow drop combo and eliminated Hype Bros
Team Hype Bros eliminated
American Alphas are next and as soon as they get into the ring, the team of American Alphas won by beating Breezango with Sunset Flip.
Team Breezango Eliminated
It was an in out for team Vaudevillians. They came in and were taken out by the American Alphas in no time with a German Suplex by Jason Jordan.
Vaudevillians were eliminated
The last team which came out was The Usos who worked over Jordan and kept him down but the team American Alphas fought back with Grand Amplitude smack and eliminated the Usos.

Team American Alpha has won the Tag Team Turmoil match but their celebration is cut short. Bray Wyatt announced a match between American Alphas and The Wyatt Family at WWE Smackdown Live.
Non-Title Match: WWE Smackdown Live Women’s Champion Becky Lynch vs. Natalya
The match between Natalya and Becky Lynch was pretty competing. Natalya tried to dominate Becky Lynch but she was good enough to counter her moves with a snap suplex, Bex-Plex and sharpshooter to pick up the win. Her winning celebration was cut short, when Bliss attacked her, she pinned Becky down with seal a bliss move.

Kane vs. Baron Corbin
It could have hell off a match between the two giants, had Kalisto not interfered in between. Baron Corbin, would taste those sour punches from Demon Kane. Kalisto took Corbin with a chair kick in his face and sent him outside. The match got disqualified and Baron Corbin was named as winner.

Main Event in an All or Nothing Ladder Match: WWE World Champion AJ Styles vs. James Ellsworth
There was everything in the match, as AJ Styles dominated James Ellsworth early. He started kicking and punching on Ellsworth injuries, which he got during the WWE survivor series 2016 from Brawn Strowman. Out of nowhere, Ambrose appeared in Ice skating Jersey and threw AJ Styles out of the ring. He even tried Ellsworth to the ladder but Styles laid out Ambrose with a Phenomenal Forearm. Styles, then tried to get the contract but Ellsworth got in his way with sweet chin music. Styles got caught between ropes which was an opportunity for Ellsworth to win the contract.
