Xiaomi Mi Note 4: Reportedly Xiaomi is planning on launching the Redmi Note 4 smartphone in India. And somehow if we say the company almost confirmed this by sending out media invites for a launch event in New Delhi on January 19. Though the invite doesn’t really mention what’s in store for the event, so going by the rumours, it could be the launch of the Redmi Note 4.

The Xiaomi Mi Note 4 was launched in China back in August last year, and as the name suggests, it is the successor to the highly popular Redmi Note 3. In terms of design, there are no revolutionary changes, and to be honest, the upcoming smartphone does look a lot like its predecessor.

The one big difference, however, is the presence of a 2.5D curved glass on the front, which adds to the premium-ness of the device. There’s still a unibody metal design, and Mi 5-like chamfered edges.

The smartphone is available in China in two variants — 16GB variant with 2GB RAM, and the 64GB variant with 3GB RAM.
