Chinese brand Xiaomi has launched its first Smartphone in India, which is completely aimed at the offline market called Xiaomi Redmi3S+. The Smartphone has gone on sale today across more than 7500 retailers of the country. The starting price of this mobile phone is Rs 9499. The company has launched this smartphone to set a new milestone towards building a stronger retail presence. According to the Xiaomi India officials, Redmi 3s+ is available renowned online platforms: Poorvika, Sangeetha, Big C and Lot Mobiles via its distributors- Redington, Innocomm and Just Buy Live.

Xiaomi Redmi 3S+ launched in India, First offline Smartphone

Xiaomi had started its journey of selling gadgets in India in 2014 with the collaboration of e-commerce giant Flipkart. After winning the faith of customers, the company started selling its smartphones on several e-commerce portals for instance: Snapdeal, Amazon and more. In August last year, the company ventured into a mortar by associating with retail chain “The Mobile Store” and Private telecom operator “Bharti Airtel”.  Redington is also a partner distributor of Xiaomi. Today, Xiaomi is getting about 10 percentage of its sales from above stores where a number of its models including Redmi2, Mi4, Redmi Note3, Mi5 and Mi Max are getting sold. The company said it expects to grow 20-30 percent of its sales come from brick-and-mortar stores in coming few years.

Specifications of Xiaomi Redmi3S+

The  Redmi 3S+ comes equipped with 5-inch smartphone sports HD display with 4G VolTE-enabled 1.4 octa-core  Qualcomm Snapdragon 430 chipset processor, 2GB RAM, 32 GB internal storage,13MP rear and 5Mp front camera and 4100 mAh battery. It supports (Nano and Micro-Sim). It also comes with the additional feature is fingerprint sensor and available in Gold, Silver and Grey colours variants.
