Shaniwarwada Fort, Pune, Maharashtra
The fort gets spooky on every full moon night. It is one of the most haunted places in the country. The reason behind which makes the fort haunted is the ghost of a 13-year-ol prince still lingers around. Narayan, the prince was the successor of the Peshwa family and was brutally killed here. Localised say that his screams ‘kaka maka vacha’ (uncle save me) can be still heard at night.

If you driving through Delhi Cantonment in the middle of the night, you will see a woman dressed in a white sari asking for a lift, but don’t stop. This is a spirit of a woman who roams across the area at night, asking for a lift. She also follows the vehicle and matches the speed while at times she simply disappears.
Dow Hill, Kurseong, West Bengal
You might have heard several ghost stories from your Grandma or parents of scary hill stations. Nobody knows the stories were true or just tales, but there is such a small hil station close to Darjeeling that is a Dow hill which is one of the most haunted places in India. It is the hub of paranormal activity and many accidents and murders have taken place there. There are many boarding schools; however, Victoria Boys High School is supposed to be cursed. Most people have heard footsteps when the school is closed and they believe that there is a spirit of a headless boy who follows people.
Bhangarh, Rajasthan
Bhangarh is the most haunted place in the Country where one should not go and stay after sunset. The broken roads for kilometres you will see there while entering the abandoned town. A few people who managed to stay the place reported that they had heard footsteps, a woman screeching and felt someone’s presence. Spotted with homes, temples, shops and a fort, the town was built by the Raja Bhagwat Das in the 16th century. A tale behind the haunted place, as people says that a magician fell in love with the princess here and decided to cast a spell on her to influence her. She got know about this and got him killed. The magicians cursed the town while dying, said everyone will die here and there will be no roof that will remain in Bhangarh. And next year there was a battle in which the city was ruined. If you see the place now, there is no roof on the temples and houses around.
Dumas Beach, Gujarat
Dumas beach is a romantic place to spend time with your beloved, but it becomes worst in the night. The black sand was once a place where Hindus burnt the dead. Many people have reportedly disappeared while wandering there at night. People have heard spooky voices and also dogs close to Dumas beach bark through the night because of the presence of ghosts and spirits. People believe that the spirits of the dead people roam around here. Dumas beach is situated close to Surat.

Ramoji Film city is a happening place which is popular for movie shooting. There is also famous for occurring strange things. Yes! This is true.
