The movie has been directed by Neeraj Pandey who has given the Indian film industry a lot many blockbuster hits. The biopic of MS Dhoni is all about his life struggles. But we promise there’s a lot more to it that entices you to go watch it on the big screen.
Well, I am myself a huge fan of MS Dhoni, so it urged me to go grab the first day first show ticket. And I was not disappointed.

Excellent screenplay
The screenplay of the film has been brilliantly executed by the director. The sequence in which the life events of “Mahi” are shown gives you a complete view of the Dhoni’s journey from bottom to top. It takes you way back to the school life of Dhoni and his passion for sports. What efforts he made, the decisions that led him to be Indian Cricket team captain, all that is excellently summarized in this biopic.
No one could have done it better than Sushant
Sushant Singh Rajput has played the role of Dhoni in this biopic and we’d have to agree that no one could have done it better. The face-morphing done in the events of cricket matches too was flawless and we couldn’t tell if it was really not him. Sushant has splendidly imitated the character of Dhoni from his accent to body language.
Witness the epic journey of “Captain Cool”
It has been quite a journey for MS Dhoni. We know him as a cricketer but we barely know what all he did in order to reach there. MS Dhoni had to surpass so many hurdles to make it to the Indian Cricket team. Coming from a lower middle-class family, he also faced many problems on this front as well.
