Motorola has been in the news quite a lot lately due to the Moto M leaks which have been surfacing every now and then. Now, the latest leak by a publication house suggests that the Moto M will feature a MediaTek SoC along with 4 GB of RAM. The screen size will be 5.5-inches and be priced at CNY 1999 (roughly Rs.19,999 or $299).
We have compiled all its specifications in one place which gives us a fair idea of the upcoming smartphone. All the earlier Moto M leaks suggest that it will be a mid-range smartphone.

Moto M Leaks – Specifications
- To begin with, the phone features a 5.5-inches FHD display with a pixel density of 401ppi along with a 2.5D curved glass on top of it.
- The Moto M will running on Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow out of the box but will soon get an OTA for Android 7.0 Nougat.
- Earlier, the reports said that the phone will be powered by MediaTek Helio P10 SoC. Now, the reports suggest that after Lenovo took over, they upgraded the processor to P15 which has 15 percent more power than the former.
- The P15 has eight cores of ARM Cortex-A53 clocked at 2.2 GHz along with Mali T880 GPU.
- It has 4 GB of RAM with 32/64 GB ROM options. Expansion via a micro SD card may be possible.
- On the camera front, it might offer 16 MP camera on the rear with Autofocus and Dual tone LED flash. The front side may boast an 8 MP selfie shooter.
- The images also show a fingerprint sensor sitting at the back just below the camera flash.
- The phone will draw its juice from a 3000 mAh battery.
October 28 Update: Latest reports suggest that the Moto M will be powered by a 5100 mAh battery rather than the 3000 mAh cell that the earlier reports indicated.
According to the regularity in the Moto M leaks, we believe that phone will be out very soon. An accessory maker Skinomi has already listed its product line for Moto M. Be advised that all the above-mentioned information has not been confirmed by Motorola (Lenovo) and hence shall be taken with a pinch of salt. Stay tuned for more updates.
