Reports have surfaced that Tom Hiddelston will play as major villain in the season
Mark Gatiss and Steven Moffat’s crime detective drama Sherlock Season 4 will return to TV screens on 1st January 2017 and the creators are looking forward the promotional strategy to promote Sherlock Season 4. It is also rumored that big actors shall star in some episodes of the popular British drama. The story will move forward from where it was left in season 3. Professor James Moriarty was dead and Sherlock season 4 will also start with a flashback of Moriarty. The creators have also announced a villain who will face off with Benedict Cumberbatch and Martin Freeman who are playing the role of Sherlock Holmes and James Watson.
The teaser for Sherlock is already out and is very intriguing. The trailer started off with Sherlock hardcore rival Moriarty and goes on to a bumpy action mania ride. Previously the creators came out with a single episode named The Abominable bride which was out earlier this year in January.
Apart from that, Sherlock’s elder brother will play an important part in the season as many secrets gonna reveal. The fans are extremely excited and eager to know who the nemesis of Sherlock will be in this season. Moreover the new evil character has been announced as Sherrinford and it is still not known who is going to play that character.
It is rumored that Tom Hiddelston is set to play Sherrinford character but still the reports are unknown. We all know the Loki from Thor and Avengers and if he plays that character it would be one of the cool casting. When asked about who’s playing the Sherrinford character, to which Benedict Cumberbatch says, it is a mere speculation which came forward in an article but the reports are still unknown. What counts more is that it is the director who has to finalize the person.
What is more, Toby Jones will play as a new villain Culverton Smith and Sacha Dhawan will play the character of AJ. The first two episodes for Sherlock Season 4 has been named as ‘The Six Thatchers’ and ‘The Lying Detective’.
It seems like the ride for Sherlock has already begun.
