Maharashtra Cricket Association Stadium, Pune: The 16th Match of IPL season 9 2016 has a great game between Rising Pune Supergiants vs Royal Challengers Bangalore. RCB had an easy win over RPS by 13 runs.
Man of the match is awarded to AB de Villiers for his good performance with 83 runs in 46 balls. And had led the team to win an easily.
In the first Innings, Royal Challengers Bangalore won the toss and elected to bat. Enters Kohli and Rahul on the crease. Kohli has his great start and the score increases while Rahul is not so in the form and was caught out on T Perera ball. Then enters de Villiers, now both the strong batsmen have put their best performance and by the end of 11th over the score reached 100 runs. de Villiers had his half century at just 23 balls and also soon after that Kohli too had his half century by 47 balls. And finally on the 19th over balled by T Perera, Kohli was caught out and again in the same over de Villiers is also caught out. Enters Watson and Sarfaraz Khan while by the ends of 20th over the scores are 185 runs for 3 wickets down.
In the second innings, Rahane and du Plessis are at the crease. It was a very bad starting on first over du Plessis was out and in the third over Smith is too out. Now enters Dhoni, both Rahane and Dhoni is now on strike and taking the situation under control. Rahane had his 50 runs in just 38 balls and by the 13th over, the team have reached to 100 runs. Rahane is stumped out on Tabraiz Shamsi ball. Then MS Dhoni is too caught out on Harshal Patel ball. Now Bhatia and T Perera is on strike. Then in the 18th over balled by Watson T Perera and then Ashwin was out in the same over. 19th over balled by Kane Richardson to R Bhatia, Bhatia is caught out and also followed by Murugan Ashwin was out too. And finally, Ishant on strike and the team could manage only to score 172 runs for 8 wickets.
