Huawei, the Chinese Smartphone manufacturer, has launched its new smartphone in China. The company has named the new smartphone as Huawei Mate 9 Pro, and the smartphone is essentially a more premium version of company’s smartphone Huawei Mate 9.
Huawei Mate 9 was launched earlier this month, with upgraded specifications. Although the brand new Huawei Mate 9 Pro will be available in Champagne Gold, Space Gray, Mocha Brown, Moonlight Silver, and Ceramic White colours.
Specifications of Huawei Mate 9 Pro
The China launch of Mate 9 Pro was reported by Android Headlines and talking on the specifications front, Mate 9 pro is a dual-SIM smartphone that runs on company’s Emotion UI 5.0 on top of Android 7.0 Nougat.
Display: It sports a 5.5-inch QHD (1440×2560 pixels) curved AMOLED display.
Processor: The Mate 9 Pro Smartphone packs a 2.5GHz octa-core Kirin 960 processor coupled with 6GB of RAM.
Camera: Huawei Mate 9 Pro comes with a dual-camera setup at the back with 20-megapixel monochrome lens and 12-megapixel RGB sensors with Leica lenses. The dual camera setup is tagged with dual-tone LED flash. The smartphone comes with an 8-megapixel front camera for taking selfies. The camera setup comes with optical image stabilisation capability.
Storage: It comes with in-built storage options of 64GB and 128GB and memory options of 4GB and 6GB of RAM.’
Dimensions: The phone measures 152x75x7.5mm.
Storage: The smartphone houses a large 4000mAh battery.
The 4GB variant of the smartphone has been priced by the company at CNY 4,699 (roughly Rs. 46,500) while the 6GB RAM variant of the smartphone has been priced at CNY 5,299 (roughly Rs. 52,500). The Huawei Mate 9 Pro comes with a fingerprint scanner at the back.
In terms of connectivity, the Huawei Mate 9 Pro offers options like GPS, Wi-Fi, and Bluetooth.
