JEE Main 2017 notification is out . JEE Main 2017 application forms will be available from December 1st, 2016, today only. It is a two-tier examination conducted by Central board ( CBSE) for the aspirants who are seeking admission to the undergraduate courses in top colleges, IITs, NITs and other engineering colleges.
Only online mode, no other modes will be entertained
This time, no offline mode, applications will be submitted only through online mode. The last date to apply online will be 2nd January 2017.
JEE Main 2017 is also considered as the qualifying exam to appear in JEE Advance 2017. Only students who will be able to make up to the required cut-off will be allowed to go to the next level, JEE Advance 2017.

JEE Main 2017 Eligibility Criteria
- For general candidates, their DOB should fall on or after 1st October 1992 and for SC /ST/OBC 1st October 1987.
- Students who’ve passed 12th or equivalent exam in 2014 are not eligible.
- Candidates appearing 12th/passed or equivalent exams in 2015 or 2016 should have a minimum of 60% in PCM.
- Candidates can attempt JEE Main exam 3 times only.
- 3 yrs Diploma holders are also eligible.
JEE Main 2017 Exam Pattern
- 4 marks for each correct answer and 1 mark will be deducted for every incorrect response.
- Time duration will be 3 hours (4 hours for candidates having 40% or more disability)
- Languages can be selected while filling the form- English and Hindi.
- It will be commenced via both i.e online and offline.
Physics- 30 questions carrying 120 marks
Chemistry-30 questions carrying 120 marks
Mathematics-30 questions carrying 120 marks
