After creating a live action, monster hit series (The Strain). Guillermo Del Toro is back with a newly animated monster show. Del Toro is famously known as the king of monsters. From Blade to Dark Universe, his sphere of horror is extravagant. Same is for the TV section. Now he is bringing a new monster series with Netflix. It is an animated show from Dreamworks Animation. December is going on a monster hunt with Netflix Trollhunters series. Such is the realm of Del Toro that he is capable of bringing the comic book alive.

Guillermo Del Toro has a knack for animated films. His previous movies were Puss in Boots, Rise of the Guardians etcetera. His works are exceptional and his new Netflix Trollhunters series is just cool. The latest trailer, images, and still pictures are eye-popping. Trollhunters brings the element of fantasy of three young people. They set on an adventure in a clash between two worlds. Del Toro’s is the brains behind the show and it is the last outing of late actor Anton Yelchin. The young actor died in a car crash earlier this year.
Series features elite voice cast
Netflix Trollhunters series will premiere this month. Moreover, a cool voice cast is lending their voice to various characters. The new trailer also features the interviews with Del Toro and voice cast members. Likes of Ron Perlman, Steven Yeun (Glenn from The Walking Dead), Kelsey Grammer and Charlie Saxton is part of the show. The show has everything and fans can expect an adventure from Del Toro’s show.

Trollhunters is based on Guillermo Del Toro’s novel of the same name. It is a story about Jim Lake Jr. who comes across a mystical amulet, while on his way to school. Further examining, he discovers an unknown civilization of Trolls. The trolls were known to be living beneath his town of Arcadia. Even though, Jim is unprepared for the face off. He takes the role of Trollhunter and sworn by oath to protect good trolls. Jim receives help from his close friends and he dives into the mysterious world of trolls. Netflix planning to expand animated entertainment
Besides this, the online streaming giant has increased the production. This means more movies, comedy specials and television shows. Bringing Netflix trollhunters series on the list, the binge streaming channel has given signals to expand in children’s entertainment world. Meanwhile, Del Toro is promoting the show on the bigger scale. In October 2016, the renowned director appeared on NYCC with the first look of Trollhunters. Hopefully, the animated series will produce a top notch adventure-fantasy. However, the first flight of the show will describe the figures, whether to renew for season 2 or not.
Season one of Netflix Trollhunters series will release worldwide on December 23, 2016. The show will run all episodes of the series in one go on Netflix.
