Manipur Assembly Elections 2017: Manipur is just away to face next assembly elections. The tenure for five-year of ruling party is going to complete on 18th March 2017. Hence, the Election Commission decided to conduct polls peacefully before completing ruling party’s tenure.
There are 60 assembly seats in the state. After implementing Model code of conduct, Election commission has been snaffled on the election campaign and the poster-war, but cold calling is going on to appeal to vote party’s candidates’ favour. The election will be held in the month of March this year in two phases, which is to be scheduled on 2nd and 8th March.

Manipur Assembly Elections 2017: There is a big competition will see during the elections amid parties. Bhartiya Janta Party, Congress are the major parties which will fight each other. If we talk about previous Assam’s elections, BJP beat Congress. And, it is obvious that BJP has a strong hold in North-eastern states. Even its strategy is doing well in the states. Hence, the election would be significant for the Congress to take revenge from BJP.
