Ramjas college clash: Aam Aadmi Party on Monday has slammed the Bhartiya Janata party for not condemning those issuing rape threats to Gurmehar Kaur- a Delhi University student whose protest against ABVP has gone viral on social media.
“A girl is being threatened by rape on social media. Not a single BJP (Bharatiya Janata Party) or RSS (Rashtriya Swayamsewak Sangh) leader called it wrong or condemned it. Why” Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) leader Ashutosh tweeted.

Ramjas college clash: Kejriwal condemned BJP for not saying a word against ABVP
Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal also slammed BJP on Sunday over the issue and said it had now become a party of “hooligans” and “criminals”.
While sharing a video of kaur and speaking about the graphically detailed rape threat she received, Kejriwal tweeted “Just listen to this. This is BJP. They will destroy our country. Everyone must rise against their goondaism.”

AAP also slammed Sehwag for his joke
“Threatening our daughters and sisters with rape; is this BJP’s patriotism? Shame on these people,” he added.
He also joined Ashutosh to condemn Sehwag for his joke by retweeting post of people against Sehwag.
Gurmehar Kaur, a student of Lady Shri Ram college is the daughter of late Captain Mandeep Singh who was martyr during the Kargil war.
While putting up her placard, she staged a protest against ABVP over the clash that blown up in Ramjas college after an invitation to Umar Khalid for a seminar.
Thereafter, Kaur received support from many students across the country but was also criticised and threatened by many for standing against ABVP, which was protesting against anti-national Umar Khalid.
