AIIMS hands over medical report: On the demand of Panneerselvam of probing the death of late Chief Minister J Jayalalithaa, All India Insititute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) on Monday handed over medical reports to the Tamil Nadu government.

The reports included the five visit made by its specialist to Chennai to give expert advice when Amma was hospitalized in Apollo prior to her death.
AIIMS handed over the five visit reports regarding the health condition of the Late Chief Minister Tamil Nadu to Government of Tamil Nadu,” said an official statement.
According to the authorities, the papers were handed over by V Srinivas, AIIMS deputy director (Administration), to J Radhakrishnan, principal secretary of Tamil Nadu’s health department.
Jayalalithaa was died on December 6 at Apollo hospital in Chennai, after two months of her hospitalization due to complained of fever and dehydration on September 22.
The Tamil Nadu government had urged AIIMS for expert medical advice after which it sent a team of senior specialists to visit Chennai five times between October 5, 2016, and December 6.
After repeated requests seeking probe of her death, the Tamil Nadu government had requested AIIMS on March 5, 2017, for handing over the visit notes of the AIIMS delegation to Chennai for their official records.
