This time is regarded as the best time to tie Rakhi, if this time is not available then Pradosh time is also suitable for performing Rakhi ceremony. This year, the Raksha Bandhan is coming on 18 th August, which is the Purnima Tithi according to the Hindu calendar. The best time to tie up Rakhi is in Aparahna Muhurat, which is during the late afternoon between 13:42 to 14:56 of 1 hour 14 minutes. The Bhadra Muhurat is not considered to be a good time for celebrating the Rakhi ceremony.
