Presidential Debate Schedule – The US is getting itself ready for welcoming it new President as the state will be going for elections in November this Year. However, there are two faces in the race with Donald trump from the Democrats and Hilary Clinton from the Republicans. But People of US are really looking confused about whom to go with.
And now it’s the time for the President Nominee Debates which would really make the People’s job easier by letting people know about the policies and future plans of both Trump and Hilary. The dates and venues have been announced by the Commission on Presidential Debates for the 2016 Presidential debates between Hillary Clinton and Donald Trump and Vice Presidential debate between Tim Kaine and Mike Pence.
Following is the Schedule for the 2016 US Presidential Debates and Vice Presidential Debates
- First Presidential Debate will be held on Monday, Sept. 26, 2016, at Hofstra University in Hempstead, New York.This debate will consist of six 15-minute segments selected by the moderator and the topics will be announced one-week prior of the Schedule.
- Vice-Presidential Debate will be held on Tuesday, Oct. 4, 2016, at Longwood University in Farmville, Virginia.The vice presidential debate will be divided into nine 10-minute segments.
- Second Presidential Debate will be Hel on Sunday, Oct. 9, 2016, at Washington University in St. LouisThe second presidential debate will be a town meeting, where half of the questions will come from participants and the other from the moderator. The moderator’s questions will be based on public interest topics determined via social media and other sources.
- Third and Final Presidential Debate will be held on Wednesday, Oct. 19, 2016, at the University of Nevada, Las VegasThe third presidential debate will have the same format as the first, with six 15-minute segments.
Presidential Debate Venue & Ticket Availability
Now talking about the Tickets availability, TV Broadcasts and the Timings, all the debated will be aired from 9pm to 10:30pm ET. Each debate will be broadcast live on C-SPAN, ABC, CBS, FOX and NBC, as well as all cable news channels including CNN, Fox News and MSNBC among others.
And finally, the most important thing i.e. Tickets for these Debates, the tickets for each debate are controlled by the hosting university and are extremely limited since the debates are primarily produced for television. The majority of tickets are distributed to host university students and faculty through a lottery system.
