Cher’s mother died at 96 due to pneumonia in September and on-and-off sickness.
Singer shared the news on Twitter stating, “Mom is gone” with a sad emoji. After three months cher said that cher’s mother was suffering from pneumonia and was sick.
Cher said, “Sorry I’ve Been Mia. Mom’s Been Sick Off & On. She Just Got Out Of Hosp. She Had Pneumonia,” Cher wrote at the time, adding in a follow-up tweet: “She’s Getting Better.”
She opened up about her mother’s health and talked about how she suffered from COVID and performed all the measures to prevent the disease for her mother. She stated she was “very careful” and “all the time.”
“We have a little bubble that we’ve had all this time,” she said. “We wear masks, and there’s not very many of us. It’s my sister, my brother-in-law, my mom, and my assistant. And we stay far apart from each other.”
She added, “I have to be careful too because I have asthma. … I have different health problems.”

Georgia holt was an American singer-songwriter, actress, and model. She was born on June 9, 1926, in Arkansas. She belonged of English, German, Irish, French, and Dutch descent.
