“All I’m really trying to say is please keep in mind what America stands for to the rest of the world. It has always been a source of hope and joy in my life.”
In order to host the CBS institution, Corden first took over “The Late Late Show” from Craig Ferguson in 2015 and relocated his family to Los Angeles.

Sure, it has weaknesses,” he added. “Show me a country where. Every one of us is a work in progress.
Just because someone disagrees with you, it doesn’t make them bad or evil. Many people are attempting to encourage those divisions.
Corden ended the night by playing an emotional song on the piano that summed up his time hosting the show.
At the end of the performance, he burst into tears and received a standing ovation from the audience.
