BSF Video Viral: Border Security force has come into an action after a serious allegation of a constable Tej Bahadur Yadav for serving a poor quality of food to personnel. Taking a serious note his allegations, BSF has called for the suggestions to enhance the condition of the meal as well as existing mechanism. As per the force, it was setting up and audit of the existing system of supplying and obtaining ration by senior officers.

The interim report to Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA) submitted by BSF on Wednesday, it saying that the daal shown in the video was from tinned food rations and the Parantha was cooked in the unit mess as per procedures followed at high-altitude locations.
BSF DG K K Sharma has conveyed the ministry that the western front commander (ADG) of the force along with a dietician has been rushed to the border post, where Tej Bahadur posted, for knowing the conditions as well as inquiry.
The report also mentioned that apart from the regular lunch/dinner comprising ‘daal’ and ‘roti’, the unit mess also prepared fish curry on some occasions, something that is also visible in the videos posted by Yadav.

BSF will probably submit its final report on Thursday after the team of senior officers sent to the spot to check the actual style, cooking norms and distribution of food to the security personnel in these areas.
A statement by Union Minister of State for Home Kiren Rijiju in which he said the government had sent experts and dietitians to each and every post of the border to check out the quality of food being served to Jawans must be as per the norms.
