Dangal Trailer: Dangal has been the most awaited movie of the year. Aamir Khan saved his film for the last as a cherry on the top of 2016 movie releases. The movie features Aamir Khan as Mahavir Singh Phogat, Saakshi Tanwar (Mahavir’s wife), Fatima Sana Sheikh(Geeta Phogat) and Sanya Malhotra(Babita Kumari).
The movie is a sports Biographical drama. Aamir Khan’s role is that of a Haryanvi coach, Mahavir Singh Phogat who teaches wrestling to his daughters. The daughters of Mahavir, Babita Kumari and Geeta Phogat are actually the names of female wrestler who won silver and gold medals respectively in Commonwealth games of 2010.

Dangal Movie Release Date
The movie will be releasing on 23 Dec 2016 near Christmas this year, directed by Nitesh Tiwari and music by Pritam. Aamir Khan and the cast underwent rigorous training for their role in the movie and received wrestling training from Kripa Shankar Bishnoi who is the coach for Indian Women’s wrestling team.
Dangal is believed to be a tough contender for Salman Khan’s Sultan this year as both the movie have a Haryanvi touch and are wrestling based. Also, last year the movies of the two Khans were in the top grossing list of 2015 movie releases; PK at number one fetching 331 crores, while Bajrangi Bhaijaan being second, also entering the 300 crore club.
