With Captain America: Civil War flying high on the success plane, we cannot forget the likes of Deadpool which did extremely well on box office. It was hell of a movie, kinda a different one. Ryan Reynolds did a handsome job as Deadpool and took away all the praises and cheers from the fans. Flying high on the success of Deadpool, the producers renewed it for the sequel and the reports are coming out that Deadpool 2 filming will start in January 2017. The location confirmed is Vancouver, Canada where the filming will start.
Initial Roadblocks on Deadpool 2 Filming
Despite the success, the sequel faced some problems after creative differences between Ryan Reynolds and director Tim Miller hit the floors, which resulted in the ousting of Tim Miller. This gave an opportunity to John Wick co-director David Leitch as he seems to be a top choice for the producers. If the producers give green signal to David Leitch then he would not be having enough time in pre-production of the film.
According to What’s Filming? (Via Omega underground) a new schedule for Deadpool 2 filming is going to be setup in Vancouver, Canada and filming would start in January 2017. So far, no dates have been confirmed and it would also be difficult for the new director to adjust his visions for the most awaited sequel before the action rolls.
What is more? It’s not the first instance when fans came through the news of Deadpool 2 filming, that it would start in early 2017. FOX was targeting early 2017 as start date which he doubled down by saying that the next X-Men movie will come into production after Logan which is slated to release in early 2017.
Since the fans are hoping that they would be seeing their ultra comic superhero soon on screen soon, it would be up to the producers and FOX to bring Deadpool 2 filming into effect. Moreover, fingers are being crossed that the new director is given enough time to settle his eyes on the camera so that he can understand the sequel before the potential Deadpool 2 filing in 2017.
