With the Airtel’s initiate and following the footsteps, Idea Cellular has announced a new offer for customers who will switch to its services. For those who will switch to Idea can avail free data worth up to Rs 9,000 for 12 months by purchasing certain prepaid and postpaid plans.
But remember, this offer is only valid for those who are switching to Idea network or the existing ones who are upgrading to a new 4G handset. Just to recall, Airtel is also giving you a similar offer at an equivalent price point. Also, it is important to mention that the price may vary from circle to circle.
But keep in mind that in order to avail additional 3GB data offer, new 4G handset customers need to visit 4G Handset section on My Idea App or company’s website using the new 4G handset and Idea mobile Internet and follow the instructions.
What are the new Plans by Idea Cellular?
Rs 348 Offer for prepaid users:
For prepaid customers, the company has come up with Rs 348 recharge pack which offers unlimited voice calling and SMS along with 1GB of 4G/3G free data. Those who recharge with this pack on a new 4G handset will get an additional 3GB data. The benefit is valid for 28 days and can be availed for a maximum of 13 recharges till December 31, 2017.
Rs 499 and 999 Offer for postpaid users:
Idea Cellular has introduced two new plans for Rs 499 and Rs 999. In the Rs 499 plan, customers will get unlimited local, national and incoming roaming calls with along with 3GB of 4G data if you have a 4G handset. For non-4G handset users will get the calling benefits but will have settle with only 1GB of free data.
The Rs 999 plan offers unlimited local, national and roaming calls with 8GB free Data on 4G Handsets; and 5GB Data for non-4G handsets. Additionally, Idea will also provide a free subscription to its Music and Movies pack on these plans.
However, for all new and existing customers upgrading to 4G handsets, Idea will also provide additional 3GB data on these rental plans, until December 31, 2017. The extra 3GB free data for new 4G handset customers will make it 6GB and 11GB free data each month, on 499 and 999 postpaid plans, respectively.
