The rage of Indian Army ripped today when they started a massive firing on Pakistan along the Line of Control for which the Army vowed. Firing by India started a day after a soldier was mutilated and two others killed.
The whole Line of Control, the de facto border between India and Pakistan, in now a hot zone with firing at Poonch, Rajouri, Kel and Machil said the army, indicating that a localized response is not enough after repeated incidents.
A soldier was beheaded and two others killed by Pakistani troops who crossed over at Machil. Just three weeks ago, another soldier was mutilated not far from the spot. Revenge will be heavy for this spiritless act said the army in a statement.
Heavy mortars and machine guns used by the army
Army used 120mm heavy mortars and machine guns in the attack on Pakistan army posts. The soldiers who killed were trapped while they were on a patrol in the Machil sector in north Kashmir by the Border Action Team of the Pakistani army. Indian posts are nearer to Pakistan in this area and the harsh land and thicker forests give intruders an advantage. Army said on today that assault is a direct message of mutilation of our soldiers which can’t be accepted by Indians; therefore our respond was massive and quick.
However, Pakistan again denied to any attack on its troops and termed it as a false report and baseless. Last month, Pakistan supported those terrorists mutilated the body of 27-year-old Sepoy Mandeep Singh before running back into Pakistan Occupied Kashmir. Around 18 soldiers along with five from the Border Security Force have died in firing from Pakistan, whereas India says it has killed at least twenty-nine Pakistani army men in retaliation.
Ceasefire violation by Pakistan gushes after surgical strike of India
There has been gushed in ceasefire violation since the September strikes when Indian Army crossed the border to destroy staging areas of terrorists who were getting ready to enter India to carry out a sequence of attacks.
The strikes were observed as India’s response to the Uri attack in which 19 soldiers were killed by terrorists came from Pakistan. After the attack, the army decided to respond to any cross-border terror attack saying “at the time and place of our own choosing”.
