Cuban Musician Pablo Milanes dies at 79. He also played guitar and wrote songs.
On Tuesday morning Pablo Milanes died after being hospitalized for many infections.
According to the sources, the singer faced chronic health issues for the past three months adding to the oncology disorder from which he was dealing from years.
Additionally, his body will be laid to rest after keeping it in public view in Madrid on Wednesday for his fans.
He was taking treatment in Madrid and due to this, he relocated to Madrid in 2017.
He has been awarded a Latin Grammy Winner. Pablo Milanes songs were hit and made a huge impact on the music industry. His songs like “Yolanda” and “Amo Esta Isla” were major hits.
For five decades he has been recording songs that were featured during Cuba’s “Nueva Trova” movement.
Representatives of Pablo Milanes said, “deeply grateful for all the expressions of affection and support, to all his family and friends, in these difficult times” and “May he rest in the love and peace he always transcended. He will remain forever in our memory.”
Two days before his death, Pablo posted a clip from a concert in Las Torres de Cotillas, Murcia, where he performed the song “Los Días De Gloria.”
The song he played was first featured in 2000 he said, “the glory days they flew away and I didn’t realize it.”
Social media was flooded with tributes to the singer on his death.
Some artists wrote, “I’m angry that you’re gone but so happy that you’ve been here. Thanks for your music.”
Artist Lucer also wrote, ” May heaven receive you singing and with the joy of your songs that remain in eternity and in our hearts. Light for you on this journey.”

In early November, he announced he was being hospitalized and canceled concerts.
The singer was admitted to a Madrid hospital due to infections related to another disease.
Pablo Milanés has all his followers and fans pending any news about his state of health, after four days ago the singer’s team published an official statement on their social networks announcing the cancellation of their next concerts, due to a health breakdown that ended in hospitalization.
