State Bank of India has come up with 476 vacancies of Specialist Cadre Officer post. The Specialist Cadre Officer post will be for IT manager, Civil Engineer, statistician, MBA and other under JMGS I, JMGS II and MMGS II Scale. The candidates who wish to apply for the post will have to do it before 22 October 2016 by visiting the official site of SBI and apply through prescribed format.
The recruitment of specialist cadre officers in SBI will be on the regular and contract basis. The recruitment will be done to fill up 476 posts like Manager, Developer, Test Lead, Tester, Admin Support Officer, Architect, Engineer, IT Security Expert, Business Analyst, Data Scientist, Sourcing Analyst, UX Designer and WAS Administrator.
Moreover, the selection process for the four regular positions of system officer, developers, test lead, tester and statistician is different from that of all contractual positions and the regular position of technology relationship manager.
Eligibility Criteria for SBI Specialist Cadre Officer Posts
- Assistant Manager (System): B.E. / B.Tech in Computer Science/ Computer Application/ Information Technology/ Electronics/ Electronics & Telecommunications/ Electronics & Communications/ Electronics & Instrumentation OR M. Sc. in Electronics/ Electronics & Telecommunications/ Electronics & Communications/ Electronics & Instrumentation/ Computer Science/ Information Technology/ Computer Applications OR MCA from Government recognized University/ Institutes.
- Developer, Test Lead (UAT), Tester (UAT), Technology Relationship Manager (Tech.RMs), Application Architect, Data warehouse Architect, Infrastructure Architect, Portal Architect, Technology Architect, Infrastructure Engineer, Technical Engineer, IT Security Expert, Developer, Tester NB (e-Pay), UAT, Technical Lead, : Engineering Graduate from Government recognized University /Institute with minimum 04/06/08/10 years experience in concerned field.
- Manager (Statistician), Asst. Manager (Statistician): Full-time PG Degree in Statistics /Applied Statistics/ Econometrics from recognised university / Institute with minimum 60% marks in aggregate. Candidate should have minimum 01 years experience.
- Admin Support Officer: MBA in Marketing/operations from reputed institute with minimum 04 years experience in concerned field.
- Business Architect, Enterprise Architect: Engineering Graduate (Preferably CS/IT/ECE) or MCA from Government recognised University/ Institute with minimum 08 years experience in concerned field.
- Civil Engineer: Engineering Graduate in civil Engineering from Government recognised University/ Institute with minimum 04 years experience in concerned field.
- Electrical Engineer: Engineering Graduate in Electrical Engineering from Government recognised University/ Institute with minimum 04 years experience in concerned field.
- Network Engineer: Engineering Graduate from Government recognised University/ Institute. Certification in CCNA/CCNP/CCDP or equivalent is a must. Candidate should have minimum 04 years experience in the concerned field.
- Complaint / Dispute Resolution officer: MBA in Marketing/operations from reputed institute with minimum 04 years experience in IT Industry.
- IT Risk Manager, WAS Administrator: B.E. / B.Tech / M.E. / M.Tech/ MCA from Government recognized University/ Institute. Candidate should have CISA and CISM certification from a recognised university with 08 years experience.
- Project Manager: Graduate (Preferably CS/IT/ECE) or MCA / M.Sc (IT) / M.Sc (Computer Science) with first class grade from Government recognized University/ Institute. Candidate should have minimum 08 years experience in IT Industry.
- Business Analyst: Engineering graduate with MBA in System / Finance / Operations OR equivalent qualification from reputed Institute with minimum 06 years experience.
- Innovation Specialist: First class Engineering Graduate from Government recognised University / Institute with minimum 08 years experience.
- Data Scientist: Post Graduate degree in statistics or econometrics from reputed Institute with minimum 08 years experience in IT Industry.
- Sourcing Analyst: MBA in Marketing / Sales / operations / Equivalent field from reputed Institute with Minimum 4 years of experience in Vendor management, pre-sales, partner relationships etc
- UX Designer: Engineering Graduate from Government recognised University/ Institute with minimum 04 years experience in IT Sector in UX Design and Development.
Candidates will be selected on the basis of online test and interview for the four regular positions.
The test will be conducted tentatively on November 25, 2016.
For the contractual positions and that of technology relationship manager, candidates will be selected by shortlisting and an interview.
