6 June 2016: In two separate incidents, two minor girls were allegedly raped by a neighbors in the past four days in the north and outer areas in Delhi. It is reported that, in the first case, 8 year old minor girl was allegedly raped by a 35 year old neighbor in the north Burai area in Delhi on Thursday.
According to the source, Abdul Rahim Khan who is a local painter received a contract for painting the house in the local area. Hence, he has taken an advance amount of Rs. 250 for the work from the house owner. On the same day, the painter have bought alcohol and consumed while painting.
Abdul has been drinking alcohol while he was painting. During that moment, in the evening his children have come to visit him and the eight year old minor girl has also come along with the children. Abdul have asked his children’s to leave towards home where he lured the eight year old girl to stay back in the work place along with him.
The eight year old girl was then reportedly raped by the drunken Abdul Rahim Khan who is a neighbor of the girl. Later, the girl was then threatened not to disclose about the consequences to anyone. The girl have informed about the incident to her parents in the evening after she returned home from the place where the she was raped.
The incident was then reported to the police on Friday. The minor girl has been admitted to the hospital who succumbed to injuries in her private parts. The reports stated that the girl is out of danger now.
The police have arrested Abdul Rahim Khan after the minor girl’s mother approached the police who narrated about the incident. The case has been registered under the relevant sections of Protection of Children from Sexual offences Act, said the police officer.
In another case, three year old minor girl has been sexually assaulted by a 12 year old boy in the outer Mangolpuri area in Delhi on Saturday.
According to the source, the minor girl was lured by the boy to a nearby park in the pretext of giving her sweets. It is learnt that the boy was living in the same locality.
The police have arrested the boy in connection with the crime, said the police. According to the source, the child was playing outside when she was taken by the boy to a nearby park attract to give some sweets.
Crime against women and children have been a threat always, yet there is no way to end to this heinous crimes.
