UP Assembly Election 2017 Result: The much awaited moment of March 11 has finally come and the counting is going on to decide the fate of parties in five states including Uttar Pradesh. The early trends are indicating clear victory of Bharatiya Janata Party which is as similar as exit polls. BJP appears to be sailing towards a comfy majority if sustain its early leads in the Uttar Pradesh election results.
BJP is expected to form its government in UP
Overall, BJP is leading in 236 seats, the Samajwadi party-Congress alliance is leading in 68seats. BSP is leading on 27 seats
As per Exit polls on March 9, BJP was expected to from government in Uttar Pradesh with a clear majority of 219 seats. SP-Congress alliance was supposed to take win seats leaving 52 seats for Bahujan Samaj Party.
UP Assembly Election 2017 Result: Punjab may have hung assembly
The counting of votes for the 5 states has been started at 8 AM. Talking about Punjab, exit polls suggested the hung assembly in Punjab. This makes the election more interesting as we might be seeing an alliance government by the Congress and AAP.
The political scenario has been completely changed with the entry of Arvind Kejriwal-led AAP. The party is a stronger contender in the Assembly elections as opinion polls even predicting it to form a government. Every poll-analysis has its own views. The Huffpost-C-Voter survey of February 2017 predicted that BJP-SAD alliance will get 11 seats, while Congress a second distant with 43 seats and Aam Aadmi Party forming the government with 90 seats.
