Xiaomi introduced the Mi Mix a while back. The innovative bezel-less design of the Mi Mix won many hearts around the world. Hell, even I fell in love with it once I looked at the images! The 6.4-inch display, however, was too big for many. Many decided to give this beautiful piece of art a pass because of the huge size. It seems like Xiaomi was listening and hence they have decided to launch Xiaomi Mi MIX mini.
The Mi Mix is almost bezel-less with only the front camera in the front being an exception to that. It has an edge-to-edge design and truly looks like a phone from the future. Xiaomi claims that it has a 91.3% screen to body ratio. That is impressive, isn’t it?
Xiaomi Mi Mix mini is Coming
According to the latest rumours, Xiaomi is working on a smaller variant of the Mi Mix. It has been codenamed ‘Nano’. It is said that the Xiaomi Mi Mix mini (Nano) will measure 5.5-inches. This is a size that most of the people are pretty much familiar with nowadays.
Xiaomi Mi Mix mini will carry forward most of the hardware from the original Mi Mix. These include the quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 821 Performance Edition SoC clocked up to 2.35GHz. As the name contains the word ‘mini’, it also means that there will be some toning down of other things as well.

The word on the street says that the size of the RAM could witness a fall. It might be downgraded from 6GB to 4GB. The internal storage will also be reduced. The smallest offering currently is 128GB which might become 64GB in the case of Xiaomi Mi Mix mini.

The best part about the Xiaomi Mi Mix mini leak is the images. Yes, that’s right. It was not just these speculations that came out. They were accompanied by a number of images. Take a look at them :-
I agree they are not the best images you’ve ever seen but what else can you possibly expect from a leak? The images have been taken in low light and hence are okay-ish. Since the features are a little laid back, we can expect the prices to be slashed as well.
It looks like the phone is ready and could be launched just before the end of 2016. What do you think? Would you like to get your hands on one of these if Xiaomi was to reduce the size? Give us your views on the Xiaomi Mi Mix mini in the comments below.
