Zika virus is now affecting nervous disorder too in the many patients. The case study has become more solid after the researcher has found a relation with Zika in microcephaly and Guillain-Barré.
The World Health Organization have also reported there; a relationship between Zika with microcephaly and Guillain-Barré infection.
The American Academy of Neurology annual meeting has also reported that the case of two people showing the symptoms consistent with Zika or another flavivirus which has come down with acute disseminated encephalomyelitis (ADEM).
Here ADEM means the brief but widespread attack of inflammation in the brain and spinal cord of the infected person.
All these reports from the study have finally directed to a conclusion that the Zika virus is a cause of microcephaly and Guillain-Barré syndrome, National Institution of health commented.
