AAM Admi Party is agreed to offer Deputy CM post of Punjab to former cricketer Navjot Singh Sidhu if the party wins the next election of the state. AAP is also looking forward, offering 5 seats to Sidhu and for his new front mates. Although, this has not yet officially announced by the Sidhu, but sources confirm that they both are in such edge where both parties can contest election together.
Aam Admi Party president Sanjay Singh says we may contest election together
AAP Punjab president Sanjay Singh shared with the media during a Conference at people’s convention center. At the same time, Awaz-e-Punjab has parted in two groups one who wants to go with Congress and other is “Bains Brothers” who are always against the Congress.
The initiative is taken by Bain Brother to talk with AAP. Both party members gathered for a meeting in the leadership of AAP senior leader Durgesh Pathak at Sidhu residence, which lasted for nearly three hours.
AEP approaches AAP to talk about the distribution of seats
According to sources, Awaz-e-Punjab and Aam Admi party members discussed on alliance and to merge AEP in AAP. Although there is no chance of “AEP” to merge, however the fronts may plunge onto the battlefield of polls collectively. There are likely to conduct more meetings among both party members to talk over the distribution of seats and other aspects for the upcoming Punjab assembly polls said sources.
Sidhu Seems a chance to boost his Political career in AAP
On the other hand, after separating himself from BJP, Sidhu has no chance to come back in the party and the congress welcomed him to join the party but without any condition. Therefore Aam Aadmi Party can be a boon for him to flee his political career. He understands that to contest election individually will be harsh to get leads for his outfit “Aawaz-e-Punjab” that has no strong following yet in the Punjab.
