Although the company and the co-founder Carl Pei denying the reports of making of any other smartphone other than the OnePlus 4, Which is expected to launch in June/July next year. But the market is sure about the smartphone launch by the company in this month which is named as ‘OnePlus 3T.’
Last month, many of the media reports told about an unknown OnePlus handset with the model number A3010 that had received its CCC certification in China. At the time, it seemed that this could be the rumoured OnePlus 3 Plus.
The name later became the OnePlus 3T, and the device is reportedly about to be unveiled very soon. There was some talk that the handset would carry an LCD display due to a shortage of AMOLED screens, but that report was shot down by OnePlus co-founder Carl Pei.
Rumoured Price and Specifications of OnePlus 3T
According to some fresh rumours that have surfaced on Friday, the OnePlus 3T will be unveiled on November 14th. The device is expected to be priced at $480 or $80 more than the price of the OnePlus 3.
The OnePlus 3T will feature most of the same specs seen on the OnePlus 3, such as a 5.5-inch display with a 1080 x 1920 resolution. 6GB of RAM remains on board along with 64GB/128GB of native storage. The camera combo won’t be changed (16MP back/8MP front) and the fingerprint scanner is also staying put. Also hanging around on the OnePlus 3T is the USB Type-C port, the 3000mAh battery and Dash Charge. Even the design will be staying the same.
The only changes that we can find appear to be the Snapdragon 821 SoC taking over for the Snapdragon 820 chipset. This should bring a 10% boost in performance and a 5% savings in battery power expended. And Android 7.0 will be loaded on the model right out of the box.
As for the OnePlus 4, a recent rumour suggested that the device will launch next summer with a Snapdragon 830 SoC running the show.
