Poonam Azad wife of Kirti Azad suspended MP of BJP is going to join Aam Admi Party (AAP). National spokesman of AAP Sanjay Singh announced on Tuesday that she would officially join the party on 13th November.
Sanjay Singh went to Kirti Azad’s residence today and mentioned, “Poonam Azad ji will officially join AAP on November 13.”
Poonam is free to take any decision: Kirti Azad
Kriti Azad was suspended from Bhartiya Janta Party (BJP) last year after he publically ttargetedFinance Minister Arun Jaitely over the issue of prevailing corruption in the Delhi and District Association (DDCA).
“It’s her decision. She is an independent woman and free to take any decision. I have no right to comment on this as I am a suspended MP. Whatever she decides will be in the interest of nation,” Kirti Azad said over the issue. Azad is the son of former Chief Minister of Bihar Bhagwat Jha Azad. He was an aggressive right-hand batsman and a quickish offspinner.
Azad faced marginalization in BJP
It was expected to join AAP of Poonam many days ago. She has served a post of Vice-president of BJP in Delhi. Recently she accused BJP that it is doing injustice with her family. She faced growing marginalization in the party for some years after having earlier been a member of the BJP National Executive thrice.
