The Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Monday addressed a rally at Ghazipur in poll-bound state of Uttar Pradesh. Referring to his move of demonetising Rs 500, Rs 1000, PM Modi said that his decision is a little ‘karak’ (strong) just like he used to make tea.

Government Move is against those who have hoarded unaccountable money under the bed
Addressing the rally, he said, “My justice is a little karak, “referring to the demonetization move to eradicate black money and corruption from the country.

And when I was small, people would often tell me, Make the chai a Karak,” he said that he used to sell chai at the railway station platforms when he was young. PM Modi said that his move of demonetising the older denomination was to aim at those who hiding the unaccountable money.
He further mentioned that the government officials will not question women till Rs2.5 lakhs is deposited in the banks following the demonetization move but People with over Rs 2.5 unaccounted wealth will not be spared. “However I will not spare those having unaccounted Rs 2.5 cash and those who have hoarded money under the bed, PM Modi said.

PM Modi says in Gazipur: I will re-open committee report which is still lost in the files
“Congress imposed Emergency and turned the country into a prison for 19months, just to save Indira Gandhi‘s Parliamentary seat. Congress had also demonetized the 25 paise coin without asking anyone. They did something of their reputation, I did of mine,” he said in Gazupur rally
He further said Congress issue statements that I feel the pulse of the poor, but some parties are worried after demonetization because they used to get huge garlands of notes but today they have the only option to put the note of Rs 500 and Rs 1000 in the dustbin.
Modi said in his speech in Gazirpur rally, “After Pandit Nehru passed away, many PMs came and went but that committee report is still lost in files. Today’s Pandit Ji’s bday, hence I pledge to reopen those files, which his party and family PMs never did, It is my tribute.
