After an explosive episode with Khiladi Akshay Kumar and his wife Mrs Funny Bones aka Twinkle Khanna looks like Karan Johar is all set to show the love story of another Bollywood couple to the world.
For the first time ever, Shahid Kapoor is all set to make an appearance on a chat show with his wife Mira Rajput and it is KJo who has done the unthinkable.
While a lot of rumours were rife that Shahid Kapoor will be gracing this season with Padmavati co-star Deepika Padukone, a report carried out by DNA has managed to spill cold water on these speculations.
According to a source cited by DNA, “After Akshay and Twinkle, Karan wanted another unusual star couple where the wife hadn’t come on KWK before. Shahid and Mira expressed their desire to come on the show. Karan was obviously excited and is coordinating their dates.”
This will be Mira’s official TV debut and what can be more interesting than doing it with your man by your side right? At the moment, the lovely couple is basking in parenthood as they welcomed their baby girl Misha in August.
The duo will shoot for the Koffee With Karan soon and the episode will be aired in mid-December after Shahid Kapoor completes his first schedule of Padmavati.
Come to think of it, this season of Karan’s talk show is turning out to be a big basket of surprises. Not only did he manage to rope Twinkle Khanna, he even brought Ranveer Singh and Ranbir Kapoor together for an episode. With Shahid and Mira next in the line, it keeps getting better!
