Alien franchise is one of the longest running franchises, which initiated its journey way back in 1979. Ridley Scott the brains behind the famous sci-fi, horror, action series is set again to scare the fans. The chest-bursting Alien: Covenant is preparing to release in May next year. Alien is the sequel to Prometheus is currently in production, Fox studios have been exceptionally releasing the details, behind the scenes photos and also about cast and crew. According to the creators, the new Alien: Covenant is going to be much scarier ‘ever’ than the previous ones.
Alien: Covenant frightening than its predecessor
Ridley Scott is quite open to the production of the movie, but the marketing strategy of the film has been on a low profile. It is not a surprising factor for Alien: Covenant, which is still six months away from releasing in theaters. Fox released the latest teaser poster of the movie quietly. Latest rumors that are hitting the movie markets is that, alien: Convent is going to be more creepy and horrifying than the previous one.
Movie Plot
The poster reminds the image of the Alien from the original movie, which starred Sigourney Weaver. Remember the xenomorph which used to stick to the face of its hosts and then the baby Alien comes out bursting the chest. This time it is going to make you scream your brains out. The plot for Alien: Covenant is, “Bound for a remote planet on the far side of the galaxy, the crew of the colony ship Covenant finds what they believe to be an uncharted paradise. What the crew discovers is a dark, dangerous world, whose sole inhabitant is the “synthetic” David (Michael Fassbender), survivor of the doomed Prometheus expedition.
Amazing Star cast
Ridley Scott, the creator didn’t name the movie Prometheus 2 and titled it Alien: Covenant has included a strong star cast. Michael Fassbender, Katherine Waterston (Fantastic Beasts famous Tina Goldstein), Danny McBride, Guy Pearce, Noomi Rapace will be playing major roles. Katherine Waterson who plays Daniels got a strong resemblance of Sigourney Weaver character Ripley.
Love of Facehugger
The ferocious face hugger will be returning back to get some of its hosts. According to Alien: Covenant fan website, the crew of the movie was handed over the posters of face hugger for their work. The poster shows the creature sketch and details about it.
Alien: Covenant is set to hit the screens on May 19, 2017.
