Yoga guru Baba Ramdev and Brand ambassador the Patanjali Ayurved on Friday refused to have a matrimonial relationship with RJD supremo Lalu Prasad Yadav’s family. Ramdev said it is a rumor and created by the media that I want to have some matrimonial relationship with Lalu’s family.

He refused all media reports of his plans of marrying his niece to Lalu Prasad’s son Tej Pratap Yadav, who is presently health minister of Bihar. He said he had been visited Lalu Prasad Yadav’s place to wish him a speedy recovery as he was reportedly unwell.”It is nothing but a gossip spread by a section of the media,” Ramdev told reporters after meeting Lalu at his official residence here.

“I have called on Lalu not for any matrimonial relationship or politics over demonetisation. It is a personal visit to inquire about his health,” Ramdev clarified. Yoga guru had come to Patna to address dealers of his consumer products brand Patanjali. “Lalu is our country’s heritage and his health is a matter of concern for us. Lalu should remain healthy for the politics of the country,” Ramdev said, adding that Lalu practiced yoga.
