BJP will emerge as the big party in upcoming assembly election of Uttar Pradesh. The recently conducted polls by India Today-Axis has revealed that the ruling Samajwadi Party is likely to be out of the government.
According to the polls, BJP is expected to win 170-183 votes in the upcoming election, scheduled to take place in another sixth month. Although, Polls shows that BJP may not able to win with a majority to form a government. The ruling party in Centre must win at least 202 seats out of 403.
The poll disclosed Mayawati’s Bahujan Samajwadi party will be the second highest in the election with its chances to win 115-124 seats. However, BSP’s chances still high with Mayawati emerging as the favorite candidate for Chief Minister, with around 31percent respondents who wants her to be next Chief Minister of UP, While 27 percent remains with Akhilesh Yadav.
Mayawati on 64 and Akhilesh 17percent favorite as a CM candidate
The reason of popularity of Mayawati among people is to maintain the law and order and the people according to this survey who preferred, for this reason, are 64percent. If we talk about the second best CM of Uttar Pradesh, Akhilesh Yadav has stood with 17 percentages of votes. The total numbers of Samajwadi party’s seats are expected to win 94-103 seats.
People refused Sheila Dixit with 12 percent votes
On the other hand, the Congress which is expected to lose the most at the election. Having Sheila Dikshit as the Chief Minister candidate seem to have failed to create any buzz for the party because one percent of UP’s people want to see her as a next Chief Minister of the state. The polls showed that the Congress will have a chance to win just 8-12 seats.
Interestingly, the people has chosen BJP, Home Minister Rajnath Singh as the third favorite CM Candidate with 17 percent of votes whereas Yogi Adinath is the second choice from the BJP at 17 percent.
