Hrithik Roshan depression: The lives of celebrities are often very speculated by the fandom and the critics. Some celebrities are looked up at with reverence and admiration while yet others receive umpteen criticism. It’s like the way it has always been, isn’t it. But some of them cannot seem to hold it together and give in to the pressure of struggles or excessive stardom and attention.

There have been many instances in the past of celebrities suffering from depression. Recently, Hrithik Roshan too has opened up about his battle with depression.

Hrithik Roshan has come up, admitting having battled depression at some point in his life and tells us coolly about it.
He says that it should be talked about freely in the society and not like a taboo subject as more and more awareness on this subject is required. He said that he faced many ups and downs in his personal life and both the ups and downs are equally important as they help a person to evolve and bring a certain clarity of thought.
Well, by mentioning “downs” in his life, he might be referring to his and Sussanne Khan’s divorce which came as a forceful hit at “Kites” star.
I have experienced depression, I have experienced confusion, as we all do. It’s a very normal thing. We should be very casual about it when we speak about it. It should be spoken about casually.

He added, “When you go through a down then the most important thing is clarity of thought. Sometimes your brain takes over, feeds you with unwanted thoughts. “That’s the time you need objectivity, a third or second person to look at you and say ‘this is what is happening to you’.”
Of late, there have been so many instances where celebrities have spoken up about their struggles with depression, and it has been widely appreciated since it has been an initiative by the celebrities to break the taboo and spread awareness on the subject which is very much required as in India it is generally stigmatised.
