Honor 6X announced! After numerous reports, Huawei has finally announced Honor 6X here in China today. The device packs many attractive goodies like a fingerprint scanner, dual-camera, VoLTE support as well as the octa-core processor. The phone can be pre-ordered right now and the shipment will begin on October 25.

Display
It comes with 5.5-inches full HD IPS display with a 2.5D curved glass protection and a pixel density of a decent 400ppi.
Processor
As we mentioned earlier, the phone packs a good octa-core Kirin 655 processor which is clocked up to 2.1 GHz along with Mali-T830 as the GPU.
Storage
In China, the phone is being offered in 3 variants. 3 GB RAM with 32 GB ROM, 4 GB RAM with 32 GB ROM and 6 GB RAM with 64 GB ROM. An expansion is possible (up to 128 GB) as the phone employs a hybrid SIM 2 tray.
OS
The phone runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow topped with Huawei’s Emotion UI OS.
Camera
Honor 6X sports a dual camera setup on the rear (12 MP+2 MP, PDAF) along with LED flash to facilitate low-light photography. It also has an 8 MP camera on the front.
Communication and features
Features of the Honor 6X include Wi-Fi, Wi-Fi Direct, Hotspot, Bluetooth, GPS, Fingerprint Sensor and USB Type-C support.
Battery
It comes with an impressive 3340 mAh battery.
What else?
As far as the price is concerned, it has been priced very competitively. The 3 GB RAM comes with a price tag of CNY 9999 (approximately Rs.9,900), 4 GB + 32 GB variant will cost you CNY 1299 (approximately Rs.12,999) whereas, for the top variant, you will have to shell out CNY 1599 which is roughly Rs.15,800.
Honor 6X is the successor of the Honor 5X which was launched around the same time the previous year. The Honor 6X has seen many upgrades which make it superior to its predecessor.
