Mulayam Yadav: Samajawadi party patriarch Mulayam Singh Yadav while rejecting rumours of his family dispute said Akhilesh Yadav will be the next chief minister of the Uttar Pradesh if the party wins in the upcoming assembly elections.
Mulayam is agreed to campaign for SP-Cong alliance
“Akhilesh Yadav will be the next Chief Minister. There are no differences in the family. I will start campaigning from tomorrow. Amar Singh is not upset. There is no difference. Akhilesh was given full freedom to work,” Mulayam told the media.
The former party supremo further said that he will campaign for Samajwadi Party-Congress alliance, but earlier he had refused to campaign for the alliance and said to campaign for his younger brother Shivpal Yadav first.
Mulayam Yadav: Shivpal can’t form a party without asking me, says Mulayam
After that, he would think to go to seek votes for the candidates named by his Son and Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh Akhilesh Yadav
“Shivpal is not miffed…no one is upset. How can Shivpal make a new party without talking to me?” he said.
It is worth mentioning here that Former Samajwadi party state president Shivpal Yadav had announced to form his new party after March 11 when election results are declared at the time of filing his nomination in Jaswantnagar last week.
On the other hand, opposition parties including Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) and Bhartiya Janata Party have been alleging that the family dispute in the Yadav family is a staged attempt to divert public’s mind from corruption and lawlessness in the state.
