Parivarhtan Rally: The government’s move of demonetization has been crushed the backbone of the common people due to the cash crunch. The news emerged out that flowers for Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s rally in Bahraich were imported from Thailand.
On the other hand, Government is encouraging people, poor, middle-class, towards a cashless economy, but the question is being raised that why so much money was spent on flowers for PM Modi’s rally in Uttar Pradesh ahead of 2017 assembly polls.
The flowers for the Modi’s rally were imported from Thailand
Unluckily, PM Modi could not attend the rally venue in Bahraich because of heavy fog but addressed the public through a mobile phone. Although, the flowers for this rally were imported from Thailand, but the florist was called from the Kolkata to decorate the dais.
Around five lakh people were likely to attent the rally while NSG and SPG commandos were deployed for PM Modi security. But, there have been rumors that PM Modi did not arrive Bahrain due to protest by the opposition was estimated along with a low gathering of people.
16 florists have been called for the PM’s Parivarthan Rallies
A team of 16 florists called from Kolkatta and Basti regions have been handed over the responsibilities of decoration for PM’s Parivartan rallies in the state. Other than decorating the stage with flowers, they will also create traditional rangoli and Nadu from Kolkata and Rahul Saini from Basti are leading the team of decorators reported Patrika.
Apart from orchid flower from Thailand, Guldaudi and Sanam India flowers were also used for rangoli and stage decoration.Also, Genda from Banaras, roses from Delhi and colourful gerbera flowers were used in the rally. At least two pick-up vans full of flowers made rounds of the venue a day ahead of PM Modi’s rally.
