LG has launched a budget smartphone in India. It has been named LG X Power and comes with a price tag of Rs.15,990. At this price point it will face direct competition from the likes of OnePlus One, Xiaomi Mi Note 3 etc. The competition in the budget smartphone segment in India is very very tight.
Specifications of LG X Power

What else?
The USP of the phone is the huge battery backup despite the not so impressive specifications. The HD screen and the mid-range processor only use a limited amount of power which allows the phone to go on for a really long time without the need for another charge.
However, the significantly low amount of RAM and internal storage at this price point might be a deal breaker for many. It is a dual SIM phone with support for 4G VoLTE. The company claims that the PE+ Technology (Fast Charging) fills up the battery really quickly.
Amit Gujral, Marketing Head, LG Mobiles, said, “We are relentless in our pursuit to ensure that all our products enable peoples’ life to become easier, efficient and help them work smarter. Today in India, we all are witnessing the 4G LTE evolution at a very fast pace and this technology brings excessive use of videos, music, streaming etc., which are battery consumption intensive features. Keeping in view of consumer’s needs, LG X Power brings huge 4100mAh battery that runs longer under heavy multimedia use.”
