LG is one of the leading mobile manufacturers in the world. A little back, they launched their latest flagship – V20. Since it is a flagship device, it offers all the top-notch specifications and many exciting features. Many people have been anxiously waiting for the LG V20 launch in India for a long time. This post is for all those people. We do not have the launch date yet but the price at which it will be launched has been leaked – Rs.49,990.
Specifications and features
- The LG V20 comes with a 5.7 inches QHD IPS LCD display with a pixel resolution of 513ppi. It also has a secondary display with a resolution of 160×1040 and measures at 2.1 inches. The display panel has a Corning Gorilla Glass 4 on top to protect the screen from damage.
- It is powered by a quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 processor which is clocked at 1.6GHz. To match the performance of this high-end CPU, Adreno 530 is present onboard which handles the graphics department.
- On the camera front, it boasts a dual camera (12MP f/1.8 + 8MP f/2.4)setup on the rear with the features like Optical Image Stabilization, Laser Autofocus and LED flash. It can shoot 2K videos at 30fps. The front side boasts a decent 5MP camera with aperture 1.9.
- The phone comes with 4GB of RAM along with 32/64GB of ROM. If it is not enough then you can expand it up to a whopping 2TB!
- The LG V20 runs on Android 7.0 Nougat with LG UX 5.0 skin.
- All the connectivity tools are provided. This includes Wi-Fi, Wi-Fi Direct, Hotspot, Bluetooth v4.2, GPS, NFC, Infrared and USB Type-C support.
- The LG V20 is loaded with features like Fingerprint Scanner, Fast Charging, Hi-Fi Quad DAC as well as B&O Play speakers.
- The smartphone draws its juice from a 3200mAh removable Li-Ion cell.
What else?
The USP of the phone is its screen. It has a dual screen with a very high pixel resolution. The second display shows notifications with a font size that is 50% larger than that of its predecessor V10. Its dimensions are 159.70 x 78.10 x 7.60 and weighs at just 174 grams despite the massive size.
Another highlight of this phone is the impressive 16MP dual camera with numerous features which helps it in clicking really sharp pictures.
Also, the presence of a 32-bit HiFi Quad DAC along with B&O speakers make it an irresistible option for many audio-aholics out there.
Price and availability
The launch of LG V20 was supposed to happen by October end but now it seems like it will be launched in November. It was the first smartphone to offer Android 7.0 Nougat out of the box.
It is available in Pink, Silver and Titan colour variants and different countries and the same are expected to be launched in India. The LG V20 launch price will be Rs.49,990. It will face direct competition from the likes of Samsung Galaxy S7, HTC 10 and Sony Xperia XZ. Stay tuned for more updates.
