Some more details about the Huawei Mate 9 Porshe Design
Where should I start from? The curved Quad HD display, ultra-powerful processor, the Leica camera, the huge storage space, large battery. There are so many things to choose from! Huawei, Porshe and Leica have joined ranks to literally make a marvel. The full metal body is another delight which makes this phone hard to resist.
First of all, it has a QHD AMOLED display which makes it compatible with the upcoming Google Daydream VR headset. The processor powering this phone (Kirin 960) was announced a little back and it took everyone by surprise when it surpassed the Qualcomm Snapdragon 821 in every aspect. It is a very powerful processor.
How can we not talk about the camera? It is one of the main highlights of the phone. However, it will not be wrong to say that everything about this phone can be termed as its highlight. Coming back to the topic, the Huawei Mate 9 Porshe Design comes with a dual camera setup (20MP + 12MP). The 12MP is the colour sensor while the bigger 20MP is a black & white sensor. This makes it a good option for clicking good pictures even in low light. It also has a Hybrid Zoom which actually combines the information from both the lenses with the help of 2x Digital Zoom.
Next thing is the colossal 6GB RAM paired with 256GB of internal storage. If you are among the fortunate few to purchase a Huawei Mate 9 Porshe Design, you will never feel that the phone does not have an expansion slot. Furthermore, it also boasts a huge battery. The Huawei Mate 9 Porshe Design comes with a 4000mAh battery with fast charging. Huawei’s SuperCharge technology takes 32 minutes to charge this battery up to 50 percent mark. A 20-minute charge will give it enough juice to last a day and a 10-minute charge will allow you to watch 2 full movies.

Price and availability
Let’s face it, the Huawei Mate 9 Porshe Design is an amazing phone. It is so good that even I want to get one for myself right now. But like always, there is a catch. In this case, it is the price. The Huawei Mate 9 Porshe Design comes with a price tag of €1395. That calculates to roughly Rs.1,03,500 or a massive $1600 (US). That is a very high price which makes it even more expensive than the iPhone 7 Plus 256GB ($969 or Rs.92,000).
The Huawei Mate 9 Porshe Design will be available in only one colour variant – Graphite Black. The exotic smartphone will be available in January 2017 in all the Porshe Design stores across the world (except the USA) and some Huawei stores in Asia, Europe as well as in the Middle East. They will be up for grabs in January only.
That was all about the Huawei Mate 9 Porshe Design. Stay tuned for more updates!
